The Ajax KeyPad Black is functionally identical to the white version, differing only in its color. It is a wireless touch keyboard designed for convenient control of the Ajax security system. Its black color gives it a modern and discreet look that blends well into darker interiors. It allows you to arm, disarm, or activate night mode by entering a PIN code, and it also features a panic button for emergencies. The keypad supports code entry with pressure button simulation, providing tactile feedback. It supports individual access codes for each user, and can also use one-time codes for visitors or service personnel. System arming without a code is also possible by pressing a special button. The keypad has tamper protection, which warns of attempts to remove it from its mount or open its casing. Ajax KeyPad uses Ajax's proprietary Jeweller radio technology, ensuring secure and encrypted two-way communication with the Ajax Hub up to 1700 meters in open space. The keypad is equipped with LED indication that shows the system status (armed/disarmed/alarm) and confirms entered commands. Its operating life on four pre-installed AAA batteries is up to 2 years.
