Octopath Traveler 0 returns to the world of Orsterra, where you will experience a brand new story of rebuilding, supernatural rings, and revenge. The game combines the familiar retro pixel art with stunning 3D graphics in 2D HD, bringing the series’ visual style to a new level. Every choice you make affects the course of events, so each playthrough can feel different.

At the beginning of the game, you build your own character using a detailed character creation system. In addition to appearance, you can define your voice, gestures, and even your favorite food. Your character's hometown serves as an important part of the story, and rebuilding it forms the foundation for the entire journey. Allies and residents can be invited to the city, enriching the story and bringing useful skills and resources.

Octopath Traveler 0 utilizes the series’ signature Break and Boost systems, allowing you to turn the tide of battle in your favor. The command-based battle system offers a wealth of tactical possibilities, as your party can hold up to eight characters from a roster of over 30 different allies. Each has their own abilities and specialties, which can be developed and transferred to others using a new skill system.

Versatile Path Action functions open up numerous options for exploring the game world. You can invite allies to battles, attract new residents to your hometown, or acquire valuable items. This gives each player the opportunity to build their own unique path in Orsterra.

Orsterra is an open and diverse world where freedom of movement allows for exploration and making your own decisions.
