The Ajax MotionProtect White is a wireless motion detector with pet immunity, designed to detect human movement indoors while ignoring pets. It's an essential component of the Ajax security system, providing reliable room protection against intrusion and reducing false alarms. Its white color helps the detector blend discreetly into lighter interiors. The detector uses a passive infrared (PIR) sensor with a coverage angle of 88.5° horizontal and 80° vertical, capable of detecting motion up to 12 meters away. A key feature is its pet immunity: it ignores pets weighing up to 20 kg and standing up to 50 cm tall, thanks to smart algorithms and Fresnel lens design. This ensures that an alarm is not triggered when your beloved pet moves around the house. Ajax MotionProtect employs Ajax's proprietary Jeweller radio technology, ensuring secure and encrypted two-way communication with the Ajax Hub up to 1200 meters in open space. This guarantees lightning-fast alarm signal delivery – in just approximately 0.15 seconds. The detector is equipped with temperature compensation, ensuring effective detection across various temperatures (from -10°C to +40°C). Its operating life can reach up to 7 years on a pre-installed CR123A battery, minimizing maintenance needs. The detector also includes tamper protection, signaling any attempts to detach it from its mount or open its casing.
