Product description

The intelligent RCV 5 robot vacuum cleans hard floors and low-pile carpets independently and systematically. Dry dirt is transported to the integrated waste container by means of a rotating brush, a side brush on the edges and a fan. The ultrasonic sensor detects the carpets, then it uses the Auto Boost function to achieve maximum suction power.

The Kärcher RCV 5 not only vacuums, but can also mop. In mopping mode, carpets are automatically avoided. The RCV 5 is sent on a research tour through the app, and it automatically creates a map of the rooms by detecting the environment (LiDAR). Individual cleaning parameters can be set for each room, such as which rooms should be vacuumed, mopped or not cleaned.

Thanks to the double laser system equipped with a camera, the flagship model RCV 5 also detects and avoids flat obstacles such as cables, socks or shoes. Additional sensors prevent the device from falling down the stairs, for example. You can start the RCV 5 conveniently through the application, either using a preset individual schedule, or by pressing the button on the device. If the cleaning robot needs help, it will tell you about it in several situations through the sound output.

The application can save several cleaning maps

It is possible to define zones where you do not want the robot to go to clean (e.g. the cat's scratching post, play areas in the Children's room or obstacles that the robot cannot pass).

Defined selected areas that are cleaned several times, cleaned in power cleaning mode or mopped with a larger amount of water.

Defining different cleaning parameters in the application for individual areas of the rooms (e.g. suction power or water volume, number of cleanings per surface).

You can schedule cleaning times and create cleaning plans through the app.
