A smarter camera than before

The renewed Owlet Cam 2 Smart HD video baby monitor includes all the same functions as its predecessor, but now the camera also records changes for notifications. The new cry sensor reacts quickly to the start of crying by sending a notification with a video image to the parent's smartphone. However, the phone can also be used normally so that the application plays the sound recorded by the camera's microphone in the background. So you no longer have to constantly monitor a live image of the children's room, but the camera can react separately to movement, sound or crying with separate notifications. Video notifications are saved in the application's memory automatically for a week.

The camera also monitors the situation in the Children's Room itself in a more versatile way, because the temperature monitoring has also got an air humidity detector as a friend. The camera, which can be attached to a rotating magnetic base, follows the room with a precise 1080p wide-view lens, which expands the image up to a viewing angle of 130 degrees. With the supplied wall mount and cable channels, the camera can also be placed above the crib in the most unobstructed viewing angle possible. The camera also has night photography and 4 x zoom functions.

The camera is securely connected using EAS-128-bit encryption to the home's fixed WIFI router (2.4 GHz), and after that the smartphone has a direct live connection to the camera using the Owlet App. Thanks to the two-way communication, you can calm the awake little one by talking directly to the smartphone.

Owlet Cam 2 Smart HD can also be seamlessly connected to the separately sold Owlet Smart Sock sensor sock, which also enables monitoring of the child's movements, heart rate, oxygen supply and sleep rhythm.
