You no longer have to worry about cable interference from traditional analog audio transmission. Pair the ECM-W2BT with a Sony camera that supports digital audio via the optional accessory adapter and enjoy clear, all-digital sound without noise.
The unit comes with a windshield that makes it easy to shoot outdoors. When you attach the windshield to the microphone, it effectively attenuates wind and breathing sound and creates a clear and even sound even when shooting outdoors in windy conditions.
You can also use the ECM-W2BT to record audio in a shooting situation with two people (performer and camera user). In addition to the main wireless microphone, the receiver has an internal microphone, which allows both the camera user and the performer to record audio.
