With a response time of 0.2 ms, the Gen2 optical switches are lightning fast! The red linear optical switches are softer and quieter. The Razer Huntsman V2 has improved acoustics. Inside it is a layer of special foam that effectively attenuates the sound of pressing the bottom of the keys.
