The Omron M7 Intelli IT blood pressure monitor is a particularly practical and advanced blood pressure monitor with a special atrial fibrillation (AFib) detection mode. The device can also be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth, which makes monitoring even easier.

Atrial fibrillation, or fibrillation, is the most common heart rhythm disorder, where the heart rhythm becomes fast and irregular. Untreated atrial fibrillation predisposes to stroke and can cause heart failure.

The M7 is easy to use and the results are easy and clear: Press and hold the start button for 2 seconds and the device switches to the Afib function, where it takes three consecutive measurements and notifies you with an indicator light if it detects an arrhythmia. It is easy to monitor blood pressure even in the long term with the help of the OMRON connect mobile application, as the readings are automatically updated to the mobile phone.

The measurement results are also easy to follow on the meter's large double screen, which allows you to compare your latest results with other daily readings and weekly averages.

OMRON's unique, shaped Intelli Wrap cuff is 360˚ accurate as it is practically impossible to place it incorrectly around the upper arm. Thanks to OMRON's IntelliSense technology, the meter pumps air into the cuff only as much as is needed, so the measurement is always quick, pleasant and painless. The OK indicator light for attaching the cuff lights up to indicate that the cuff is attached tightly enough.

The device has an average function and it reports the average of the measurements made within two or three short periods of time by pressing a button. Also, when it detects an irregular heartbeat, it will indicate it with the dedicated "Shattering Heart" symbol. The symbol can also be a sign that the measurement result is not reliable and that the measurement should be repeated. If an irregular heartbeat is observed several times, it is good to contact health professionals.

Likewise, the device notifies if too much body movement is detected during the measurement. Even then it is good to do the measurement again.

The device itself has memory slots for two users. Its memory stores 2 x 100 of the most recent measurement results. In addition, the device has a guest mode, so the measurement result is not saved in either memory location.
