The Schneider Electric Wiser remote-controlled socket brings the features of a smart socket to a traditional socket. With the Wiser socket, you can control various electrical devices such as floor lamps, radios, fans or coffee makers by telephone or other Wiser products automatically. You can e.g. harnesses various floor lamps into lighting situations in the living room when controlled by an intelligent Wiser socket plug. The electrical device in the socket plug can also be controlled by other Wiser devices: for example, the temperature / humidity meter can activate the humidifier or a separate heater to run when conditions change. In addition to the control, the plug supports energy measurement and visualization. The application can be used to view energy consumption on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.

Wiser is an evolving smart home system that is easy to install and customize to the needs and preferences of each home. Wiser allows home residents to use their smartphone as a home controller using the Wiser by SE app . Wiser is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri. All devices connected to the home are visible and manageable in Wiser by SE. Open and certified Zigbee 3.0 guarantees extensibility on 3rd party devices - certification is a guarantee of compatibility. This is a widely used standard involving more than 450 manufacturers. Devices manufactured by SE can also be used in other applications. The solution can easily be extended retrospectively, for example with SE's new equipment.
