There is nothing worth changing, but there is always room for improvement. The Sony α7R IV's 61 megapixel efficiently stabilized sensor captures 14-bit raw images as well as oversampled 4K video at high bitstream. In video, you can also take advantage of Sony's phenomenal Eye AF.

The camera can be controlled over WiFi from a computer, which also uses a high-resolution mode based on 240 megapixel pixel transfer. If necessary, the camera transfers the images to an FTP server in the background without having to interrupt shooting. The large and significantly sharper OLED viewfinder also captivates the eye at a refresh rate of 120 fps.

The a-version of the A7R IV includes an updated rear display. The screen resolution has increased from 1.44 million dots to 2.36 million dots.
