TP-LINK Omada EAP650-Outdoor WiFi 6 Outdoor Access, White (EAP650-OUTDOOR)

Designed for commercial use, the easily scalable WiFi 6 MU-MIMO base station creates a fast, long-range wireless network for indoor and outdoor use with just one base station. It can be mounted on a wall or pole with the included mounting hardware. Management and deployment is quick and easy with the included cloud-managed Omada controller software or Omada mobile app. So there is no need to buy a separate license or pay a fee to use the devices. The software also makes it easy to extend the reach of the network by adding new Omada base stations. The software makes it easy to manage all the base stations at the same time. This software-based management basically allows unlimited scalability of the network. Read more about the software

Features:

• Band-based management
• Band Steering technology identifies devices that support the 5.0 GHz frequency and directs them to use it. This improves overall network performance, especially in high client density environments.
• MU-MIMO and OFDMA support
• Up to 250 simultaneous WiFi users depending on conditions
• The base station can be mounted on the ceiling like a smoke detector.
• A per-user speed control can be configured for each network to prevent the client device from reserving all the capacity for itself.
• Access Control can be used to limit client access to, for example, the company's internal network.
• A remote station can be scheduled to reboot itself, for example once a week.
• Load balancing ensures stable connectivity for all customers in large environments.
• Rogue AP Detection scans the network for unwanted access points and blocks them from entering the network.
• Omanda Mesh support*
• Seamless roaming*
• Cloud Access*
• Captive Portal lets you conveniently create access rights for corporate guests. With the service, the user must, for example, accept the terms of use and enter the visitor password*
• (Omada Mesh, Seamless Roaming Captive Portal and Cloud Access require OMADA SDN controller to be enabled. e.g. or
