The Akyga® AK-SC-E26 Type 2 socket is a three-phase connector designed for electric vehicle (EV) charging installations. Type 2 Socket Compliant with the European EV Charging Standard The Akyga AK-SC-E26 Type 2 AC socket has been designed based on the IEC 62196-2 Type 2 standard, which is currently the most widely used charging interface in Europe. This ensures full compatibility with popular charging stations and wallboxes, providing stable and safe charging in all conditions. Three-Phase Type 2 Socket – Fast and Efficient Charging The AK-SC-E26 Type 2 EV socket supports three-phase alternating current (AC) charging with a maximum current of 32 A and a voltage of 400 V. This allows for a charging power of up to 22 kW, which significantly reduces the time needed to recharge the vehicle's battery. Excellent contact conductivity and low contact resistance ensure high efficiency and safety of use – without the risk of overheating or power loss. For charging to proceed correctly and safely, it is necessary to use an appropriate EVSE or wallbox device, which is responsible for communication with the vehicle and control of the charging parameters.
