Calibrated to the max
TheStrix G16 is built right from the factory with the world's most powerful components. But even that isn't directly enough for ROG and that's why the performance of the device has been fine-tuned. In Turbo mode, the AMD Ryzen™ 9 9955HX3D processor defaults up to 55W, while the NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5070 Ti Laptop graphics card has been boosted to an impressive 140W. In manual mode, an additional 10W of power can be specified for the processor, for a total system power budget of up to 205W.


Uraviable cooling system
To accommodate such powerful components, both the Strix G16 chassis and motherboard have been designed to fit our full-width heat sink, with fins moved even closer to the fan vents for more efficient cooling. The full-width heat sink consists of three separate sections, which surround the motherboard with closely spaced fins. This design maximises the available escape path for warm air and significantly increases overall airflow.

Most gaming notebooks have a dual-fan cooling system, but the G16's performance has been further enhanced with a third fan to help keep the graphics card and VRAM cool. Combined with seven efficient heat pipes and Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal for the graphics card, the G16's cooling system keeps your machine cool.

The G16 features a stunning ROG Nebula display with an ultra-fast panel to ensure you don't miss a beat. With a 240Hz QHD 16:10 panel with 500 nits of brightness, 100% DCI-P3 overlay and 3ms response time, this panel is pixel-perfect even in the fiercest gunfights. We added an Ambient Contrast Ratio (ACR) layer to reduce reflections and improve contrast. The Stix G16 display also offers fantastic color, Dolby Vision, Adaptive-Sync support and a 90% screen-to-body ratio for a superior gaming and viewing experience.
