A staggering 2000 lumens of light output

The light of the LIGHT5 EB2000 electric bike provides a light output of 2000 lumens. The powerful luminaire draws power directly from the electric bike's battery. Equipped with three different light outputs, as well as a wide and far-illuminating beam. With different power modes, you can always adjust the light to suit the situation. In addition to the three Basic Powers, there is also an automatically operating daytime running light that changes the light mode when moving to an illuminated street, for example. Similarly, when driving on a dark street, the machine switches to a more efficient Headlight mode. Perfect for fast-paced forest trips, downhill and other fast-paced and high-light driving times. Thanks to the smaller power spaces, the lamp also works great for street cycling and, for example, school and commuting.

The bracket included in the package holds the lamp in the middle of the bar, allowing the beam to be directed straight ahead. Fasteners for both 32 mm and 35 mm bars included. At the end of the power cord from the chassis is a quick connector that connects to a model-specific power cord (sold separately). In this way, the same luminaire is suitable for use on several different wheels and, for example, during storage, the luminaire can be detached from the wheel without fussing with the power cord. Protected by a durable aluminum body, the luminaire is equipped with an impact-resistant polycarbonate lens, which provides safety even in harsh conditions. IPX6 protection ensures that the luminaire also withstands moisture.

Thanks to the 6-12 V operating voltage, the luminaire is suitable for all the most common electric bicycle models. Model-specific connection cables are available for Bosch, Shimano, Brosen and Yamaha motors. We recommend that the luminaire be installed on the bike by a professional. Installing a lamp may affect the validity of the electric bike warranty. On some wheel models, the power plug for the engine light must be activated separately.

The easy-to-use light comes on automatically in daylight mode when the bike is turned on. The on / off button switches the light on and off by pressing the power button once. The lamp switches off automatically if the bike is stopped for two minutes. To change the different light outputs, press the power switch fully, so you can select the appropriate light output. You can activate the flashing mode by double-clicking the switch. To return to normal light output, double-click the switch.

Note: The light on the LIGHT5 EB2000 electric bike is not currently compatible with Bosch Gen 4 motors. The Gen 4 motor is not able to produce the amount of current required by the EB2000 luminaire, which causes the luminaire to turn off and the electric bike system to indicate a fault condition. A LIGHT5 EB1000 electric bike luminaire with a slightly lower light output is also available, which works perfectly in the Bosch Gen 4 motor.
