Product description
The Brikka nut pan equipped with a double pressure valve produces an espresso-like rich mocha coffee, on the surface of which a layer of foam, known from real espresso coffee, is formed, i.e. crema. The valve, which works like a pressure cooker, makes the preparation of coffee more even, and you get a more intense taste in your cup than a regular nut pot. Made in Italy.
Nut pans come in different sizes, because the filter in the pan must always be filled with coffee. Otherwise, the water will pass through the filter too quickly, and the coffee will be weak. By using two or more nut pans of different sizes, you can prepare a flexible amount of coffee in one go. The Brikka nut pan is made of aluminum, it can be used on all types of stoves except induction.
The nut pan uses coffee that is ground finer than for a filter coffee maker, but slightly coarser than the actual espresso grind. We recommend freshly roasted coffee beans and a high-quality coffee grinder.
