Reolink Argus 3 Ultra, 8 MP surveillance camera for indoor and outdoor use, white (90845)

Reolink Argus 3 Ultra is a battery-powered surveillance camera that can be connected to a wireless Wi-Fi network, which also has LED lights. Other features, e.g. intelligent motion detection, two-way audio, traditional night vision and a memory card slot.

The LED lights of the Reolink Argus 3 Ultra camera turn on when motion is detected and enable a colorful image even in pitch darkness. However, if desired, the user can also use traditional black-and-white night vision with IR lights. The resolution of the camera is no less than 4K, 3480 x 2160 at a 125° angle. Thanks to intelligent motion detection, the camera can detect people, vehicles and pets separately from the image. Notifications sent by the camera take on a whole new meaning when motion detection is configured to react only to vehicles and people. For motion detection, the camera also has a passive infrared sensor. When detecting movement, the camera sends an immediate notification. The camera works with a built-in 21.6 Wh rechargeable battery. The camera also supports the separately purchased Solar 2 solar panel (USB-C connection).

The camera also has a memory card slot (max. 128 GB, the card must be purchased separately), which means the camera records motion detection locally. Argus 3 Ultra also supports interval video (time-lapse). The camera is set to take pictures at the desired time interval and a video is automatically created from the series of pictures. The progress of a construction project, the spring awakening of plants, the monitoring of traffic flows, the dawn of the morning - the uses are endless!

The camera is connected to a wireless 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi network and the camera is used and managed with the easy-to-use Reolink application, which is available for both Android and iOS devices.

Reolink Cloud service:

Reolink has launched cloud storage for selected Reolink camera models at the end of April 2022. The user can choose between Basic Plan, Standard Plan and Premier Plan storage options. The Basic Plan can be activated for one Reolink camera and the service is currently free. In the Basic Plan service, 7 days of storage history is stored in the cloud (max. 1 GB). Standard and Premier plan are paid services offering longer recording history, support for more cameras, more storage space and better alarm notifications (depending on the camera).

Note, the camera's battery can last up to a good month. The battery life is essentially affected by the operating temperature, the strength of the wireless network, the use of the camera, and the number of motion detections. The battery lasts about 500 minutes/charge of active use and recordings.
