Cutting-edge shooting performance
The Z5II utilizes Nikon's most powerful image processor, enabling exceptional performance in all shooting conditions.The 24.5-megapixel full-frame sensor produces detailed and accurate images, and the camera's in-camera image stabilization system (IBIS) reduces vibration by up to 7.5 steps in the center of the image and 6.0 steps at the edges. Innovative Focus Point Vibration Reduction prioritises stabilisation around the active focus point, ensuring sharp images even in challenging conditions.

Superb performance in low light
The Z5II excels especially in low light shooting. The camera's ISO sensitivity reaches up to 64,000 for stills and 51,200 for video. Advanced noise reduction enhances clarity in low-light shots, improves colour saturation and preserves detail. The autofocus system works in light as low as -10 EV, enabling accurate images even in the dark of night.

Fast and Intelligent Autofocus
The autofocus system on the Z5II is 68% faster than its predecessor. Intelligent multi-target detection with three-dimensional tracking further increases accuracy, while the advanced AF-A mode detects even the slightest movement by automatically switching from AF-S (for still subjects) to AF-C (for moving subjects).

Amateur-quality video
For filmmakers, the Z5II offers a full range of video features. The camera records 4K UHD video at 30p or up to 4K/60p (limited). Particularly impressive is the ability to record 4K N-RAW video directly to the camera's SD memory card. The N-log recording mode offers flexible post-processing options, including colour definition and creating a cinematic look with RED's LUT profiles.
Intuitive interface and ergonomics.

The Z5II is designed for confident and intuitive shooting. The camera features a rotating touchscreen and a super-bright electronic viewfinder (3,000 cd/m²) for easy image composition in bright conditions. A new Picture Control button allows you to preview and change colour profiles in real time. Improved ergonomics, a firmer grip and more intuitive button placement make handling a pleasure.
Durable and reliable construction.

Although compact (only about 700g), the Z5II is built to last. The magnesium alloy body provides excellent dust protection and drip-proofing, rivaling the highly regarded Z6III. The camera has two SD (UHS-II) card slots for increased storage capacity and reliability.
