Product description
Replacement stylus for cartridges Even the best diamond stylus wears out after a while - conical styli after about 500 hours, elliptical styli after 300 hours, microlinear styli after 1000 hours and Shibata stylus after around 800 hours.
For this reason, we designed our VM95 series dual moving magnet pickups so that the styli can be interchanged and the pickup itself can be used almost unlimitedly. If the stylus is worn out, you don't need to buy a new pickup, just the right replacement stylus - or you can upgrade your system with another, higher quality stylus.
All six VM95 pickup models feature the same electromagnetic drive unit (housing). The six styli in this series are therefore 100% compatible.
