The package includes a wireless 802.11ac standard access point (TL-WPA7617 WiFi Powerline Extender) and a 1000 Mbps powerline Ethernet adapter (TL-PA7017P). The HomePlug AV2-compatible adapters provide 1000 Mbps transmission speed over the powerline and up to 1200 Mbps wirelessly. 128-bit AES security encrypts network traffic from outside parties at the touch of a button.

The TL-WPA7617 features a WiFi Clone button for easy installation. This means it will automatically copy your SSID and your router password. When you press the button, you can put the powerline adapter wherever you want wired or wireless access to the network. The Wifi Auto-Sync feature allows the wireless network created by the adapters to follow the network of the powerline so that, for example, it can shut down and restart itself according to the powerline. LED lights can also follow this scheduling.
