Two seats in one!

After the booster seat, it's time to move on to the car seat, and finally the safety belt seat works for your child up to the upper school years. The Joie i-Bold car seat combines the last two seats so that you can go directly from the infant carrier to this seat, and there is no need to buy a third car seat for your child at the same time. This nifty combination seat can be used directly with a 15-month-old toddler, so that the seat openers + 5-point harness keep him comfortably in the embrace of the cup-shaped seat. As the child grows, the 5-point harness can be moved to the side into a separate compartment inside the seat and the seat can be extended according to the child's height. At this stage, the seat is secured with the car's own seat belt and further supported by ISOFIX anchorages. ISOFIX keeps the seat in place, even when the child is not in the car. The car seat requires ISOFXI, but in the car seat position this is optional.

In addition to the GrowTogether™, the seat features Guard Surround Safety™ side impact protection, a one-hand adjustable GrowTogether™ harness/extended support, air-permeable side panels and a removable cup holder for travel drinks. The backrest and headrest are suitable for children up to 150 cm tall and there are up to 11 height adjustments. In addition, the travel comfort can be adjusted to four different angles of inclination.

The removable top of the car seat can be machine washed (delicate 30 degrees, no tumble drying).

Before making a purchase decision, we recommend that you check your car's compatibility with ISOFIX installation. For an older child, ISOFIX is optional for seat belt use, but ISOFIX + Top-tether are mandatory for a toddler between 76-105 cm.

The Joie I-Bold car seat is classified in the 76-150 cm seating group, and is suitable for use up to around 12 years of age.

*I-SIZE R129 aims to improve child safety on car journeys and reduce incorrect seat installation. In the R129 standard, crash tests are carried out with a 32-sensor test dummy instead of the traditional 4-sensor one, and side impact in particular is included as part of the acceptable marking.
