The knife block’s secret is found in the slots: each slot for smooth edged knifes (paring, carving and chef's knives) has two built-in ceramic sharpening stones arranged at the ideal sharpening angle. Each time you remove or replace a knife, its edge is automatically aligned and the knives are kept sharp and ready at all times.
