A brand new type of spin polarisation filter, with a scratch-resistant surface that doesn't let dust or even fingerprints stick properly. If you do manage to get something on the surface of the filter, it comes off easily with a light wipe with a microfibre cloth. By rotating the filter, you can control the direction in which polarised light passes through to eliminate reflections from, say, the surface of a lake or a window. It can also be used to highlight the colours of the sky, for example. Not suitable as a general purpose lens cover.
