Replacement filter for J.Shmidt 500 filter canister.The filter is a highly efficient combination of AQUALENTM fibre-absorbent material, fine activated carbon powder and a microfiltration cavity fibre membrane measuring only 100 nanometres. Such a cartridge provides high quality water purification, removing microplastics, chlorine and organochlorine compounds as well as heavy metals and iron. It also protects against limescale build-up while removing bacteria and intestinal cysts without the use of chemical bactericides. The new cartridge's absorbent ingredients require preparation before use. Before using a new cartridge for the first time, filter and pour out the equivalent of three funnels of water.
