The Oskar humidifier achieves optimal humidity in the room quickly and with low power consumption. Thanks to the hygrostat, the device always keeps the room humidity at the right level. The very quiet and stylish humidifier works with evaporation technology. Water can be conveniently added from the filling door while the device is operating. When the water runs out, Oskar turns itself off. The LED lights can be dimmed or turned off completely (night mode). You can also use scents in Oskar. You can conveniently add a date to the filters to remind you that the filters should be changed.

Evaporator

This technology uses the natural principle of evaporation. The filter cartridges absorb water. A fan is used to suck dry indoor air through the filter and transfer moisture into the air. Over-humidification with this technology is not possible. Evaporators are very efficient and use only little power.

Dry indoor air is mainly a problem in winter when the central heating is on. The indoor humidity often drops below 30%. Opening the windows does not help, but often makes the air even drier. When the outside air temperature is around 0°C, it can only hold 4 grams of water per cubic meter. When the outside air is 20°C, the corresponding figure is 20 grams of water per cubic meter. If the relative humidity outside is 69%, it corresponds to only 18% of the relative humidity inside. This humidity deficiency can only be corrected by using a humidifier. The ideal humidity recommended by doctors is between 40-60%.
