Sliced bread, sliced cheese or meat cut into perfectly even portions are the products you can nowadays buy in every store. However, if you are a person who shops consciously, appreciates the quality of food and has their own preferences as to the thickness of a slice of bread or a slice of ham, you will certainly appreciate the advantages of the Blaupunkt FMS501 electric slicer.

The most important element of the slicer is a rotary blade with a diameter of 17 cm, made of high quality stainless steel. Equally important is the cast-aluminium adjuster, which controls the thickness of the slices, maintaining a stable angle with a clearance, and the removable feeder for feeding products to be cut with the blade.

The sturdy aluminium base of the slicer has grooves on the sides to guide the feeder. This solution allowed to minimise the number of crumbs which can accumulate in the grooves during slicing, while at the same time making them easier to clean. The set also includes a pusher to help you cut products precisely and protect your fingers from the blade, and a tray for slices and crumbs.

The feeder, pusher and tray are made of plastic which is safe for your health. All these can be easily removed from the slicer and cleaned under running water.

The FMS501 model allows a wide range of slice thickness adjustment – from less than 1 mm up to 20 mm. The smooth adjustment of the slice thickness is made possible by a convenient knob placed at the back of the adjuster, with a clear scale, thanks to which you can be sure that the device will cut bread, cheese or meat exactly into such slices you need at the given moment.

Safety and stability of the appliance during operation is ensured by non-slip feet, blade guard and pulse mode (the device operates only when the switch is pressed). For advanced users, continuous operation will be convenient, with no need to keep the switch pressed.

There is also a power cord compartment in the slicer housing, into which excess cord can be inserted and hidden for convenience of use and aesthetics of the worktop.
